A New Look and My Current Favorite Winter Accessory . . .

Hello lovelies!

It was time to refresh DO34ST.  This may sound silly, but I could never adjust to my previous theme, and it’s feature of the sidebar on the left. I am more comfortable clicking on the right side from my “Blogger” years. I spent most of yesterday, with the NFL playoffs reeling in the foreground, trying on blog themes . . . ( it was just like shopping for shoes and clothes ).

I finally found a good fit! The new look is cleaner. I also like how it features my logo at the top.

Now . . . my current favorite winter accessory!

The faux – fur pull through scarf.

Last year, I took advantage of the after Christmas sales and purchased a faux – fur pull through scarf from Restoration Hardware.

When people ask me where I got it . . .

I say, ” Restoration Hardware”.

“Restoration Hardware?”

Really?

I have good news!

The “pull – throughs”  are now on clearance.

They may be purchased for as little as 18.00 here.

faux-fur

It has been my “go-to” accessory since November. Last week it kept me warm and toasty while we walked in 11 to 14 degree temperatures at Whistler, B.C.

This accessory is not only utilitarian,  it dresses up any ordinary sweater, vest, or coat.

Talbot’s offers their version here, now 24.99 . . . (the regular price was 69.50).

It’s the perfect time to purchase a few of the upscale versions at such a great price, and give for winter birthdays, or stash away for next Fall and Christmas gifting.

niemans

Nieman Marcus . . . quite lush . . . was 75.00 now 56.00.

If you google . . . “faux – fur pull through scarf “, you will find them available at a reduced price from many retailers.

Make it a blessed holiday!

Keep warm!
