I am weaving images of a few of Buvette’s Letterpress wood block prints within my words today. I happen to love block printing. When I was in high school, the school districts in my area would enter art to be juried for a Summer exposition at the Seattle Center. My block print was accepted, and won for it’s category. I gifted the winning piece of art to my favorite aunt, because she loved it. The Buvette cookbook has me thinking about getting my carving tools out again.
It’s GAME DAY! The Coug’s host The Trojans tonight. USC is ranked #5, we are ranked #16. We are meeting friends at a local “pump room” for dinner, drinks and the game.
Buvette block prints are sometimes available for purchase on their website. Jody’s cookbook continues to inspire me. I have spent the month of September studying her book. The journey has “gifted” my spirit, and inspired me to study a cookbook a month.
My selection for October?
If you haven’t heard of “Cougar Gold” . . . you will next month.
